ABOUT SSPRES YOUTH

The youth ministry at St. Simons Presbyterian fosters faith development and spiritual growth in the lives of young people.  Through worship, fellowship, learning, and having fun, we seek to provide a safe and welcoming space for youth to learn about God's love for them and the world.

DIRECTOR OF YOUTH MINISTRY
Eliza Ours

Eliza considers one of her biggest blessings as being a member of SSPC her entire life! Her baptism, confirmation and even her marriage have all been at SSPC. As she grew up in the church, her favorite memories are camps, mission trips and building relationships with the other members. Although she has been an intern and worked part-time in various ministries of the church, she is thrilled to now be on staff and share her faith and love for Jesus with the youth. Eliza enjoys gardening, baking/cooking and spending time with her husband, Luke, and her family (she is the daughter of CE/Children's Ministry Director, Frieda Warner).

BEGINNING SUNDAY, AUGUST 27!

Every Sunday @ 5PM (Fall-Spring)  |  Music Attic

This group will meet in the Music Attic at 5:00 pm on Sundays before Youth Fellowship, beginning August 27th.  We will discover our music abilities through games, hands on experiences, and worship opportunities.  Each person’s gift is important that comes to this weekly experiment. We find in Psalm 116 the verse “What can I bring to the Lord?” Music is one of the powerful gifts that you can practice and offer in thanksgiving for what was given to you at birth.
