Youth Program Areas (Adult Volunteers Only) *

Sunday School: Joins Bible study and encourages discussion. Youth Group Supper: Provides a meal for 20-30 people Sunday evenings at 6pm. Can be home cooked or bought. (examples: pizza, lasagna, sandwiches, BBQ, tacos/burritos, etc...) Food/drink expenses are reimbursed to you by the church. Youth Group Games: Contributes game/activity ideas. Helps lead and assist game-time. Youth Group Worship Leaders: Do you love to play contemporary worship music on guitar, keyboard, etc...? Or do you love to sing? This one's for you! Time commitment is 20-30 minutes on Sunday evenings. Youth Group Advisor: All advisors meet with Eliza at 5:30pm Sunday evenings before the Youth arrive. Advisors participate in the full duration (6-8pm) of Youth Group. They build meaningful relationships with the youth, pray for them and the program, help with pre-prepared devotionals/and small group time. Guides and nurtures youth in their faith journey and sets a Christ-like example. Tuesday Morning Devotion: Eats breakfast with the youth and helps with a short devotional before school. Event & Trip Chaperone: Day trips, weekend trips, fall break trip Summer Trip Chaperone: Week long trips such as Montreat, mission trips, camp, etc...

The youth ministry at St. Simons Presbyterian fosters faith development and spiritual growth in the lives of young people. Through worship, fellowship, learning, and having fun, we seek to provide a safe and welcoming space for youth to learn about God's love for them and the world.
