DAY OF SERVICE

You are invited to join us for a Day of Service with St. Simons Presbyterian Church on Saturday, September 27th. The Day of Service is an intergenerational event that brings together people of all ages and abilities to go out in teams and volunteer at local organizations around Glynn County.

• Habitat for Humanity
• Salvation Army

We will meet at the church at 8:00 AM for breakfast and a devotion before heading to our worksites and gather back at the church at 12:00pm for lunch together and a time to share about our mornings. Children are encouraged to participate in this event, but childcare will be available for children 5 and under.

Day of Service Overview

• Time: Start at 8:00am in SSPC Social Hall; serve at worksite from 9am-11:30am; lunch and sharing at 12:00pm; finish by 1pm.
• Cost: Participants are asked to make a $10 donation/person to help cover the cost of food and supplies.
• Assignments: An email with final details - including worksite assignments and a complete schedule for the day - will be sent out the week before.
• Childcare: Free childcare is available for participant's children ages 5 and younger.
