Worship & Art Camp 2020
What a Fellowship, What a Joy Divine: Art, Photography & Cooking
Children will Worship and create Art with inspiration from the hymn What a Fellowship, What
a Joy Divine. This hymn was written in 1887 by Anthony Showalter, a gospel music composer
and elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Dalton, Georgia. He based his song on a scripture
from the Old Testament:
God lives forever! You can run to him for safety. His powerful arms are always there to carry you.
The familiar refrain of this song reminds us that we can always Lean on the Everlasting Arms…
even during a pandemic!
