Join all ages of our church family for a float trip down the crystalline Ichetucknee River. White-tailed deer, raccoons, wild turkeys, wood ducks, otters, turtles, fish, and great blue herons can be seen from the river. We will rent tubes and rafts and enjoy a relaxing day starting at with a swim in the beautiful and chilly waters of the Ichetucknee Springs followed by a float down the river. We will stop for supper on the way home.

This year SSPC will be taking our Youth to Asheville, NC to participate in AYM's Mission Immersion Program. AYM’s Mission Immersion program is an opportunity for our young people to dive into the challenges and needs of neighbors who live on the margins of the Asheville community. Mission Immersion experiences include lodging, food, service at a variety of local agencies, and debriefing that uses Bible study, group discussion, and art projects lead by AYM staff.

BRIDGE is a fun 5 day adventure in mission and ministry on Saint Simons Island and around Glynn County hosted by St. Simons Presbyterian Church for youth of Savannah Presbytery who have completed grades 6-12 . This trip helps the Youth of Savannah Presbytery to feel engaged and immersed in real ministry that affects lives while also learning and practicing earth care. In addition, students will be afforded the opportunity to experience the connectional church as they forge new relationships while strengthening existing ones!

SSPres children youth , and adults join with other churches in our presbytery for a week of camp at New Ebenezer in Rincon, GA. Each day, we will explore a Bible story and theme that will guide our thoughts as we go swimming, making crafts, canoeing, playing games, sharing our talents or a variety of other activities. We will do these things knowing that God is with us!

The Global Mission Team is selling Father's Day Cards whose proceeds support Marion Medical Mission's Shallow Well Project in Malawi, Africa. Cards can be purchased in the hall between the sanctuary and the fellowship hall on Sunday mornings and in the church office during office hours.
