Grace and gratitude guide the life and work of St. Simons Presbyterian. As people who receive God's undeserved grace in every aspect of life, we seek to live lives that say "thank you" by sharing God's love through tangible acts of service to our neighbors. The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead (James 2:17), and so we strive to join God in spreading Christian love in our community. St. Simons Presbyterian is actively engaged in our community and world through a variety of mission opportunities. Presbyterian Disaster Assistance
Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) is the emergency and refugee program of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). It enables congregations and mission partners of the PC(USA) to witness to the healing love of Christ through caring for communities adversely affected by crises and catastrophic events. PDA focuses on the long-term recovery of communities and individuals, providing a ministry of presence for as long as it takes.
