Kirkin o' the Tartan Service
About Kirkin
Every year St. Simons Presbyterian Church celebrates our Scottish Presbyterian Heritage with a Kirkin o' the Tartan Service. We will have a “Blessing of the Tartans,” and a large procession involving flags, Scottish banners, pipes and drums with the First Coast Highlanders.
Attention Tartan Donors & Volunteers
We are excited to see all of your tartans decorating our sanctuary space! Please contact Suzanne Morrison using the form below by January 11 if you plan to carry your tartan at either the 8:30 or 10:30 service! If we do not hear from you, we will either pre-hang our tartan or find a volunteer to carry it. If you would like to volunteer to carry a tartan for a family who is unable, please signup below & Suzanne will get in touch with you.
Island Concert Association
Formed in 1984, this organization is dedicated to the presentation of classical music to the community.
Each Tuesday evening in February at 7:00 pm, performers present a 60-70 minute program with no intermission followed by a reception and artist meet and greet in the social hall. There is no admission fee due to member, corporate, patron, and church support.

The Longest Night
A Winter Service of Hope & Healing
The Longest Night is a unique winter service of devotion that has a very special ministry focus. This introspective smaller work is intended to be a worship experience that encourages those going through times of sorrow and grief during the holidays.

Join Us for Bluegrass Sunday!
Please join us for a knee slapping good time at our annual Bluegrass Sunday worship service! Members of the congregation and community share their talents on traditional bluegrass instruments while the choir and congregation join in with some traditional gospel hymns.
