Resources

SSPC pastors and staff are working to gather and curate some resources for you to use during this time of physical distancing. We hope these bring you some comfort and allow you to continue to grow in your faith! Please check back regularly as we continue to add new content and ways to engage! We are working towards setting a weekly rhythm of podcasts, video messages, and virtual worship.

Online devotionals, reflections, and liturgy will be posted here on Sundays at 8A . Also be sure to join our email list or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Family Resources
Be sure to check out the "Children's Chapel" videos under the worship tab. We are updating these each week to help aid our children and families in their worship and study at home during our time of physical distancing.

Worship & Sermons
You can participate in worship online by visiting www.sspres.org/online. We are posting online and by email a devotional, reflection, and liturgy every Sunday at 8A.

You can always hear any of our past sermons here as well as watch past live streams of worship here.
Outreach
The outreach and mission of the church continues in earnest even in this time of physical distancing. The following are giving and service opportunities to support those experiencing food insecurity, economic distress or who are otherwise vulnerable in our community.  Many of these organizations represent ongoing mission partnerships with SSPC.

Neighborhood Care Coordinators
In response to the coronavirus, the Congregational Care Team has created a new ministry called Neighborhood Care Coordinators. The main purpose of this ministry is to create a system for regularly checking in on some of our more virus vulnerable members and to offer assistance to any who have or develop needs during this period of social distancing. If you have or develop a need to have someone pickup groceries, medications, or assist in other ways, please contact the coordinator for your neighborhood/area. Additionally, if you would like to be added to the list of those willing to help do these tasks please email your name and information to Molly Macaulay (mmmpr@bellsouth.net).

Sparrow's Nest
The Sparrow's Nest ministry serves as one of the only emergency food pantries in our community. A "wish list" of their most needed food donations can be found here. Monetary donations are also being accepted here: faithworksministry.z2systems.com/np/clients/faithworksministry/donation.jsp

Second Harvest
Second Harvest of South Georgia provides food supplies to various non-profits and organizations serving those in need in our community. Donations to Second Harvest can be made by clicking here.
