The St. Simons Presbyterian Church COVID-19 Community Relief Fund was established to provide emergency financial assistance to individuals and families in Glynn County, Georgia who have been financially impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. We realize that one of the most pressing challenges many in our church and community are facing as a result of this virus relates to personal and family finances. As such, we are grateful for this opportunity to serve in a tangible way by trying to help ease some of that need.
Any full-time resident of Glynn County is eligible to apply for a cash grant from this fund if they meet any of the below criteria:
To apply, click the "Apply For Relief Fund Grant" link below. All applicants are required to provide supporting documentation. Furloughed workers must provide proof of furlough and proof of employment prior to COVID-19 outbreak. You will receive an update on your application within five days. Every effort will be made to maintain confidentiality throughout the application and gift process.
In order to assist the most people possible, the maximum grant amounts are $250/individual. Only one grant per couple/family. Additional grant money may be available for applicants with dependent children under age 18 residing at home.
