BRIDGE Small Group Excursions
Join Madelynne as we go out this summer on a BRIDGE excursion! There is a week for everyone to participate! This unique program focuses on ecological education, teaching students about the current environmental challenges and offering simple and effective ways to take care of God's creation in their daily lives. While cleaning up marine debris, researching with environmental experts, learning about the importance of biodiversity, or simply enjoying the beautiful surroundings, participants will explore their impact on the earth through the lens of the Christian faith.
Activities will range from marine biology, Coastal Outdoor Adventures, Village Creek Landing kayaking with SEA, and UGA Marine Extension. Family Week Schedule: Wed July 8 | 9:30 am with UGA Marine Extension Thur July 9 | 8:30-11:30 with Coastal Outdoor, marine biology Fri July 10 | 9am Village Creek Landing kayaking with SEA Youth Week Schedule: Mon July 13 | 3:30-6:30 Outdoor Adventures, Marine Biology - Meet at 7th street beach entrance Tue July 14 | 10 am UGA Marine Extension - Meet at OPES parking lot Wed July 15 | 10am SEA kayaking Brunswick dock TSN Week Schedule: Wed July 22 | 10AM UGA Marine extension Thurs July 23 | 2-5 pm Outdoor Adventure Fri July 24 | 8:30am SEA kayaking What to bring on your excursion: sunscreen, bugspray, beach towel, water shoes, large water bottle, snacks (picnic lunch is encouraged) If you have any questions contact Madelynne at madelynne@sspres.org Cost: $40 per person / $100 family of 3 or more |
