Giving At SSPC, we joyfully give back to God from the blessings God has given us. We are convinced that giving is a matter of the heart and that our giving reflects our true priorities in life. God has called us to be generous in supporting the work of Christian ministry, which includes the proclamation of the good news of Jesus Christ, the care of the poor and sick, and the growth of the life of faith in individual Christian lives. Our giving is an act of spiritual discipline and it directs our hearts towards our God in gratitude and joy. There are many ways you can support the work of God through SSPC. Tithe What is tithing, and what does it accomplish in the life of the church? Pledge We pledge the resources of our life and work so that the church can plan on how to best use its resources. Memorials When people die, we are sad to have to say goodbye, but there are ways we can thank God for the lives of our friends and family. Property We have many assets in our lives, and some people like to give to the church through gifts of property or stock. Restricted Giving Sometimes we give money directly to a specific ministry or expense of the church. Here are opportunities for your directed giving.
