Two Year Old Classes Two Year Old Classes Children must be age two by September 1st to be eligible for the preschool program. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-1:00pm. Check with the office for tuition. Two year olds will spend time in play situations that provide opportunities for exploration, experimentation and manipulation. Through play, children will learn to interact with peers, problem solve and develop their imaginations and creativity. Children will also participate in structured activities such as circle time, Chapel, music and art. Socialization skills such as sharing and getting along with others are primary goals for two year olds.
Three Year Old Classes Children must be age three by September 1st to be eligible for the preschool program. Classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00am-1:00pm. One three year old class may be offered which meets Monday through Friday. Check with the office for tuition for three day and five day class.
The primary goal for three year olds is to help each child develop his or her potential as an individual and as a group member. This is accomplished by providing an environment in which he or she can be stimulated and challenged with activities that develop gross and fine motor coordination, visual perception and the ability to reason and communicate. Our comprehensive curriculum includes structured enrichment classes such as Chapel, music and a children's physical education program.
Four Year Old Pre-K Classes Children must be by age four by September 1st to be eligible for the preschool program. Four year old Pre-K classes are held Monday through Friday 9:00am to 1:00pm. Check with the office for tuition.
The four year old Pre-K program promotes Kindergarten readiness. This does not mean concentrating on only academic skills, but focusing on all areas of readiness such as social and intellectual skills. Activities are designed to be age appropriate and develop each child's potential in all areas - social, emotional and cognitive. Our comprehensive curriculum includes structured enrichment classes such as Chapel, small group work, a children's physical education program, Spanish and music.
