    Nat was raised in Kingsport Tennessee and educated at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Nat married his wife Jamie and together they have one child, Ryan who is now 17 years old. After college, Nat went on to become a professional artist (working in clay).

    Nat’s life in ministry began as a volunteer youth advisor for First Presbyterian Waycross where he was ordained an elder in 1996. Nat completed the J. Richard Bass School of the Laity and was soon called by First Presbyterian Waycross to be their Director of Programs where he has worked for the past seven years.  He has furthered his education in youth leadership and Christian Education during his tenure at First Presbyterian Waycross through PC(USA) and other highly accredited organizations.  Nat’s interests include spending time with his family, reading, traveling, bicycling, camping, backpacking, kayaking and hiking.
